Counseling in Washington State
Hi, I'm Karalee Behling.
I'm really glad that you are here.
I think it's only fair that I share a little about me, with you! I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, caregiver, plant lover, retired competitive athlete, counselor, and about a million other things. I began my counseling career as a school counselor with students grades K-8 in a virtual school. My school counselor played a large role in my life in middle school and I decided then that I wanted to help others in whatever way I could.
I attended Oregon State University and received my Bachelors degree with a major in Human Development and Family Sciences. I thought I would be done there. I wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue education beyond that point. However, something kept pulling at me telling me I needed to continue. I followed that nudge and enrolled in a Masters program with Seton Hall University for a degree in School Counseling. I finished that program, began working as a School Counselor and knew that more needed to be accomplished. Continuing on I pursued my E.d.S degree in Professional Counseling and became a LMHCA in Washington State.
Following those little nudges throughout my life has ended up being the best thing I could have ever done. I love what I do. Meeting with clients and helping them navigate through life elevating their way of thinking is a dream come true.
